Dear colleagues, dear friends,
on behalf of the Organizing Committee it is my pleasure to officially announce that the 13th Meeting on Recent Developments in Pharmaceutical Analysis (RDPA 2009) and the 14th Summer
School on Pharmaceutical Analysis (SSPA 2009), will be held in Milan (Italy) in September 2009, under the auspices of the University of Milan.
The 13th RDPA meeting (September 9 – 12, 2009) will continue the tradition of outstanding science in the fields of pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis, and will bring together scientists from industry, academia and government institutions across Europe and throughout the world. The meeting will create a forum for in-depth, informed discussions, regarding both basic science and applications in pharmaceutical analysis. The Scientific Program of RDPA 2009 will consist of oral presentations (Plenary and Keynote lectures) and a limited number of oral communications. Special sessions will be dedicated to Poster presentations. Papers presented at RDPA 2009 will be considered for publication in a Special Symposium Issue of the Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis (Elsevier).
The SSPA is planned under the auspices of the Division of Medicinal Chemistry of the Italian Chemical Society and the European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry mainly for the researchers and PhD students of the Faculties of Pharmacy and Sciences and for researchers of pharmaceutical industries. The Scientific Program of the 14th SSPA (September 7 – 9, 2009) will be focused on advanced analytical methodologies in drug discovery and development: ADMET studies and biomarkers.
We cordially invite the scientific community to actively contribute to the scientific events organized, in our more than two thousand years old city. Mediolanum, which became a metropolis at the beginning of the 4th century a.C., is now renowned as one of the world capitals of innovation, science and art-based events, finance and business, opera, design and fashion, and will host the Universal Expo in 2015.
